Follow Up UPR Final Recommendations - Lebanon

Supported by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and Arab Human Rights Fund (AHRF), the CCSOL will undertake a number of activities by October 2012:

 Develop a National Plan of Action which includes all the accepted UPR recommendations - Advocacy work .

 Prepare & Print out: Lebanon Final UPR Recommendations Poster (accepted by Lebanon), which will be distributed to HR CSOs, foreign embassies (including HRC members) & Lebanese ministries (including MoFA)

 Prepare, print out & disseminate the National UPR Booklet


 Workshop / Round table & Trainings on Best Practices and Mechanism to follow up UPR recommendations (targeting CSOs, Media, MoFA and relevant Lebanese ministries)

 Prepare and submit Joint General Mid-term UPR report (to be submitted in September 2012); covering:
- General recommendations
- Civil and Political Rights
- Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (In cooperation with the Coalition headed by ANND)
